Additional features – suggestions

  • Allen, this importer is cool…great work!

    I have a few suggestions for additional features. Hope it is ok to post these…

    1: Widget: Add the optional “Feed Source Attribution Label”.

    2. Importer: Expand the functionality of “Choose a plugin category and associate it with one of your blog post categories” currently in the Feed to Post Settings tab. Move to Feeds tab. Allow optional selection of Importer Category (as performed currently) and optional selection of WordPress Category (another column of drop downs boxes).

    3. Importer: Add the Importer Category and the WordPress Category to the Manage Posts tab as 2 columns in the display.

    I am using Version 2.67.64.

    Hi Pete
    I’m working on a new version of the plugin (not sure when it will be released) and I’ll add these to the hoped for feature list. I was going to do away with plugin categories altogether (since they are mapped to WP categories) but when I surveyed the current users, people were generally against doing that. Oh well.
