No log files

Nothing is appearing in the log files. I found a couple of other threads about this, and here are the answers:
In some and maybe most cases this happen if you modify the default CF 7 fields. Make sure you didn’t change the ‘your-email’ field to something like ’email’.
I didnt make any changes to the default CF 7 fields.
And this:
Make sure the address is linking to the download-monitor link, and not the actual address of the file. If the link doesn’t go through download-monitor, it won’t be tracked.
I would love to be able to check this, but I need a better explanation as to where exactly these things are. Where would I find the address that is supposed to link to the download-monitor link?
Everything else is working great, but I want to be able to capture the data of who is using the download. Thanks.
