Blank Page – Bluehost WP 3.9.1

    I’m very new in the WordPress world. I just started hosting a new WordPress blog with Bluehost (running WordPress 3.9.1) and I’ve tested 4-5 different themes and I want to use Evolve but I get a blank screen and PHP Error Log saying that there is an error in …/library/functions/options.php line 1

    If I activate the theme I’m screwed and I cannot even “preview” the theme from my Dashboard/Themes. When I click on preview I get a blank screen (but doesn’t screw my blog).

    What is wrong with me ? :p

  • If I were you, I’d make a back-up of all my content (through XML export for example) and re-install WordPress from scratch, install only the most necessary plugins and just one theme, then import the backup.

    Sometimes that is quicker (and less work) than troubleshooting…
