• Hello everyone!

I was wondering if anyone had any insight on missing sidebars on WooCommerce category pages.

We are using the7-theme for our website and online store using WooCommerce. General pages like Home, company, about etc. are in full-width responsive design, without a sidebar. For the store page we have a sidebar (default sidebar with categories and tags widgets) on the right hand. Unfortunately, the sidebar disappears when opening a category page. We would like products to be shown on 2/3 width on the left hand and 1/3 sidebar on the right hand, but products are displayed over full page width (the source code indicates ‘no sidebar’) and the product images are even enlarged (bigger than their real size) … On the other hand, when opening a single product page, page layout returns to showing the sidebar like it should.

Has anybody experienced the same issue? We have already tried the woosidebars plugin but it didn’t change anything (and we don’t need it having only one sidebar), and there is no possibility to make choices for category pages’ layout. We already tried all possibilities in woocommerce/settings/products (Shop Page Display / Default Category Display) but no option changes the category page layout.

Many thanks in advance for your suggestions!

This may be due to the latest wordpress update 3.9.1. On our teststystem running on 3.8.1 sidebar is showing where it should. Any issues, please?

Try changing the default sorting in woocommerce product options to something else than standard. it worked for me.

Tired to change the css code it works:

    1. First sets layout in the theme options woocommerce tab
and add the sidebar in bellow options and updated
    2. After update the options Go to the product category page it will displayed sidebar

    Other wise Change the css:

    1. Right click on the page go to the Inspecton element
    and HIDE THE “WIDTH: 100%”

    Now Check it once

I have exactly this issue and not getting anywhere with the7 support yet. In Theme options there IS no woocommerce tab so these fixes aren’t working either.

Tried changing product options and didn’t change anything.

    Anyone else able to help?

I am having this issues also. I am using the Divi theme by Elegant Themes. After upgrading to the newest versions of WC (2.3.5) all of my Sidebars on my Shop page disappeared. The Sidebar area is still there, just no content. I have tried removing the content from the Widget page, but again, no Sidebars. I am not using any caching progrmams. I am unable to get the sidebars back on the appropriate pages!!!

WC support doesn’t answer any emails. If someone has any ideas, please share. The area
