Image will not post to editor since WP update to 3.9.1

  • Since updating my WP to version 3.9.1, my images are not posting to the editor. I can upload the from my computer, but when I try to post on the page, nothing happens. My cursor doesn’t even appear wherever I want to start typing. I’ve updated all my plugins & even the theme to its’ latest version & still nothing.

    Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Twenty Fourteen theme to rule-out a theme-specific issue.

    By deactivating the plugins will that cause any problems on my live site? I realized images would not insert after the upgrade also and I have to manually input the code using the text tab to work around the issue.

    Temporarily until you reactivate them, yes, but this is necessary to track down the issue.
