I paid $29 to upgrade the Ignite theme in Managed WordPress/godaddy to the Ignite Plus version. I was sent the zip file in an email, but I could not open the file. It gave me a ‘folder’, which I could not ‘choose’ to unzip. I tried several times and then the theme upgrade that was sent in the email said “no more downloads available.” I am disputing the charge with American Express, but obviously I would rather have what I paid for. Thanks for your assistance.

    John,

    I’m sorry about the confusion.

If you still have a copy of ignite-plus.zip, you can upload the zip file to your site through the dashboard by going to the “Appearance” menu, clicking the “Add New” button at the top, then clicking the “Upload Theme” option at the top and using the file uploader on the next page.

Please send your response to support AT competethemes.com, so I can send you any files if necessary.

Hello Ben – I am having a similar program. I have a mac desktop. I followed the instructions you gave above however when I open the file and click choose it opens up again showing each separate file. I am not able to select all in order to download. Please help. This is soooooo time consuming!

    Thank you,

    Michelle

    Michelle,

    Just responded to your email.

    Hi Ben,

I’m having the same issue with the Ignite Theme. I’ve also got a MacBook. I keep trying to upload the theme but the downloadable file is showing up as separate files as opposed to one clickable option that I can upload the theme through.

I’ve tried emailing [email protected] but my emails keep bouncing back. Is there another email that I can contact you on or can you fix this issue?

Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks!

    Rosie,

I’m sorry, our servers were down for a few hours yesterday. If you could email us again at that address we’ll get right back to you with a fix.

    Rosie,

I was browsing this post and thought I’d chime in. It’s COMPETE themes (no “L”), so that may have been why your emails were bouncing.

    (@bensibley)

Yes there is no “L”. Good catch, thank you!

    Hi,
I’ve got the same issue. Just bought Ignite Plus and have a Macbook. I download the zip file and it shows up as a series of folders which the Add Themes choose file button doesn’t recognise. Please help.

    Thanks!

@mods can we close this? This thread started with a very misinformed user and has done nothing but confuse other users.
