For a couple of weeks now, Jetpack now longer publishes posts to Google+ as public. I assume this started since my upgrade to Jetpack 3.x

Neither Google+ nor Jetpack seem to have an option to control visibility. Since it worked prior to 3.x, I assume the problem is caused by Jetpack.

Jetpack doesn’t set privacy in publicized posts to Google+ but instead follows the settings on your Google+ account page.

If you’re logged into your Google+ account, you can go to this page to check and/or change the privacy settings:
    https://plus.google.com/u/0/apps

On that page, find the WordPress app, and click this edit button to change the app’s default settings:
    https://d.pr/i/c1j6

In that example, I had changed it to only post to people in my circles.

I hope that helps! Let me know if you have any questions.

They don’t make it easy, that’s for sure! Glad I could help. ??
