Get rid of comments awaiting moderation

  • I don’t use the Akismet plugin. My blog recently got comment spammed, 1287 times to be exact. They did get caught by wordpress however and awaits moderation because they all have 2 or more links in it.

    How do I get rid of these en-masse please ??

  • Well, you can search here for some SQL if you’re comfy with a tool like phpMyAdmin.

    Or you could install Spam Karma 2 which will, I believe, offer to handle all the old comments and spam.

    I got rid of it with Spam Karma 2. Just “delete spam olderen than…”
