Full Width Slider problem

Hi,
I followed a video tutorial that is available to create a new test site using Genesis Framework/Dymanik Website builder, featuring a full width slider on the home page.
I followed the tutorial to a T and it worked well, but I noticed when using the Soliloquy Slider that the slider text was hidden by the slider navigation buttons, so I decided to try Meta Slider.
When using Meta Slider I’m getting a strange effect: if I use Flex Slider, R Slides or Coin Slider a narrow grey bar appears on the far right of the screen, which forces a horizontal scrollbar.
If I hover over the image in the slider, the horizontal scrollbar disappears the page is correct width.
It does not occur if I use Nivo Slider (of of the four available sliders in Meta Slider).

It’s not a huge problem for me as it is only a test/experimental site.
