Twenty fourteen – how to implement main slider

    Somehow I am just not “getting it”.

    I wish to post some 4 images in slider format at the top of the website. I have declared the slider tag as: ‘homeslider’. From the instructions, I gather I am to create 4 posts. But what then? Do I:
    * insert the image into the post body and leave the rest of the body blank, or
    * leave the body blank and declare the image as ‘featured image’?

    Presumably I always tag the post ‘homeslider’?

    This has to be easy,but I am missing some piece of the puzzle.

    Still experimenting….

    While I am on the ‘customize’ section,I see a mock version of the website. And now the slider works (with 3 images). But when I go to view the website itself, even a different browser,

    By the way, I presume for this feature, it does not matter which post format one chooses, right?
