• Hello,

I have followed these instructions https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory 100s of times and never had a problem.

Now I am trying to remove the /wordpress from the URL again while keeping the actual site in the wordpress directory, using these same i instructions but it just is not working. Instead, it has removed all pages and posts from the /wordpress url (saying oops, page not found)and the domain without /wordpress is still not working.

    here the links:
    https://theomrevolution.co.za/wordpress/
    https://theomrevolution.co.za
-I have changed the site URL in settings, copied the htacces and index.php to the root directory, changed the last line in index.php to include the wordpress directory, logged back in and refreshed the permalinks.
Do I have to do a search and replace all theomrecolution.co.za/wordpress for theomrevolution.co.za in the database? I did not have to do that for any of my other wordpress sites when i removed /wordpress…

    ANy help and advice appreciated!!!
