Responsive disapears when CSS is added

I am adding the CSS provided by google adsense into a style sheet, yet when I check off to use a custom style sheet in Adsense Explosion no ads appear.

If I tell it to not try and read for a seperate CSS, ads appear but they are not responsive.

Is it possible that it is not trying to read from the correct style sheet?
Else I have no clue why these ads would not be generating.
