• I currently have wordpress setup on my website. However, I wanted each of my editors to be able to upload, publish, and edit their own subdomains. The main site with wordpress is https://www.example.com With wordpress can my editors manage, publish, and edit at test.example.com without having to know HTML and code?

  • You could setup a WordPress blog for each of those users in their own subdomain. Though not sure if that’s what you are asking…

    How do I set-up a wordpress blog for each subdomain?

    1. Set up a subdomain (that’s NOT a WP issue, ask your host how to do it).
    2. Install WP separately for each and every subdomain where you want it.

    Alternatively, you may consider using WPMU (multiuser) – it does automatically what you want: https://mu.www.ads-software.com

    If you really have WP installed alread, you shouldn’t ask questions about posting, editing, publishing… because you know exactly how does it work.

    I am the new editor and the previous editor installed WP. I currently do not want to ruin my main directory with WP. So can I install MU WP on a subdomain such as example.com/MUWP and then create subdomain blogs through the interface?

    example.com/muwp – is NOT a subdomain, that’s a subfolder!

    muwp.example.com = subdomain.

    For question regarding WPMU, please refer to their forum: https://mu.www.ads-software.com/forums
