Recover usernames for users

    Sorry I couldn’t find an answer in the KB or on support forums. I run s2Member PRO, which is great.

    I use it for registration for an offline community. Worked swimmingly last year which was my 1st online year. Now we are due for renewals.

    Members only pay dues once a year, so tend to forgot their usernames. I have set up for them to log in and check their profile then pay with paypal to renew, but I know that many will have forgotten their usernames.

    Is there any way/function I can use to get them to recover their username without having to ask me to mail it.

  • How about using a plugin to allow them to log in with their email address instead of their username?

    You could give them a link to WordPress’ password reset tool. /wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

    He can enter the email address there, WP will send him an email with his username and a link to reset the password.
