how to install wordpress 2.1

  • i tried it, but after i installed. i lost all my entries from the old wordpress [blog, daily post]. can someone tell me how to do it. thanks ??

    p.s at first i thought it looks like yahoo/aim .. where you update the newest version. you will not lose any enty. but i was wrong. the whole database messed up. lucky, i saved my old blog file.

  • Be sure to go to your blog address and in the browser address line add the following to the end of your address and press enter:

    /wp-admin/upgrade.php

    This will allow you to finish the upgrade in the browser.

    it sounds hard lols .. is there any other easier way? lolzz, i’m afraid i will lost my last year blog entries *hix*
