Removing Grid's featured images

There’s probably a way to do it with custom CSS.
Care to share a link to your site so we can see it and view the CSS?

Try using this to your custom CSS:

.featured-content .post-thumbnail {
display: none;
}

If you are using a child theme you can put that CSS in there

OR

use a CSS plugin or jetpack.
