Follow-Up to: Voting Premium with NextGEN Lightbox Pro

  • As my last thread has been closed down, I’m forced to open a new one.

    This refers to the question how to get the voting plugin working in a lightbox.

    This issue is not in any way related to the “Premium” addon of shauno’s voting plugin, it applies to the free version as well. The “Premium” version works as an add-on to the free version, so I just wanted to point out to shauno that I have both versions installed.
    So what happened in the thread was not a plugin author giving support to a paying customer, but me trying to give some solution back to the community, which might be interesting for at least one person.
    I don’t really understand why you close down a thread like that, but I hope everybody interested will find this post.

    In my version of the plugin, the specified file already contained this line:
    this.bind("loadfinish", function (event) {
    You should try to add the lines of code I posted after that one.

    As for whoever closed your initial thread, that was indeed very inappropriate as I do know that a lot really are looking for a solution to this one as well. And yes, I would def agree that it was not an issue on the Premium version but on the Free version.
