Random changes in Google Webmaster Tools

  • Since the update to latest version I have been experiencing strange issues in Google Webmaster Tools My Website is Rushinformation

    Sometimes the Webmaster Tools shows 373 URLS Submitted and 360 Indexed and suddenly after few hours it starts displaying 0 indexed pages and then sometimes shows 0 URLS Submitted…

    Is anyone facing the same issue ? Should i be concerned about this issue though the indexing on Google is quite fine but i am afraid if this could cause negative impacts on my rankings….

  • Thats a known issue in Google Webmaster Tools. Every time Google is notified about a change in the sitemap, it temporarily sets the indexed pages to 0 until the sitemap was fetched again.

    Please note that this is only a display issue in GWT, of course your URLs are NOT removed from the Google index.

    Exactly I am facing the same problem in google webmaster tool and google organic traffic has gone down drastically. Please advice..

    even i had this problem on my blog TechCrises ,, but it got fixed automatically… by google. it doesn’t affect anyone site.. in any manner.

    having the same issue for about a month now.

    That’s because it is not a issue with the plugin. This is standard behavior of Google Webmaster Tools. Someone please close this thread already.
