Can I install Kayako on WP multisite?

  • Hi,

    Currently I have a Kayako installed on a seperate domain.
    The aim is to move it to a subdomain of our main site.

    The main site doesn’t have a wp installation.
    I want to install WP multisite on the subdomain.
    Then I want to reinstall kayako on that subdomain as a “support” wildcard subdomain.

    Is this possible?
    Is it even possible to install a wp multisite on a domain that is itself added as a subdomain to a non-wp site?

  • A multisite consists out of multiple wordpress sites from a single installation. Your main site should run WordPress to enable multisite.

    You can install Kayako on a subdomain but not with multisite. Just create a subdomain on your hosting account and FTP the files from Kayako to the subdomain folder.
