Double Pictures are being created

Can you please provide a link to your gallery page so I can see the slideshow which “incorrectly shows the images twice when viewing it on the overlay window”?

Here is what I know – the wp upload folder contains a simple photo folder with the images for the gallery.

The wp media library is showing the images in the simple photo folder as well as the original photo I choose from media library.

And finally, the lightbox is showing both the image from the wp media library and from the simple photo folder. (I think?)

I really like this plugin. Keep up the good work.

If you create a gallery by using images from your media library then this plugin will make a copy of the image and use that one in the gallery. This way your original image doesn’t get ruined when watermark and stuff is applied to it via the gallery.

I checked the page you shared, I don’t see any image that is shown double in the lightbox.

Thanks for the quick reply. You are right of course, about the original image not getting ruined during watermarking by using a copy in the simple photo folder instead. You are the expert.

The images lay out on the page fine. No duplications on the page.

When I click an image, a pop-up window appears.
Than I click next in the pop-up window, I see the same photo without a caption. This is happening for me on each photo.

What do you suggest I try? Could you take a second look at the site?

Double images in the pop up lightbox. Images are showing double causing the plugin not to work as stated in the plugin description.

This is a real issue with the plugin.

Same problem. Template 2 & 3 are okay using Lightbox but Template 1 causes it to double the number of photos in the gallery and show each one twice.

Also, how do you determine the number of columns in Template 3. I have 6 images and only two columns – tow images are landscape and 4 are portrait. Maybe this is the only way it can show them in this particular gallery?

Hi, I also have this problem, and I reeally need it fixed soon! My webshop product pages look strange now, because there are a lot of duplicate images showing up in the gallery. And those galleries are lightbox, and not made with the plugin!

I made galleries and albums on a different place on my website and now duplicates show up everywhere on my site.

I think you selected images from your woocommerce product so it kept all the product image meta information. You can go to the gallery interface of the plugin and delete the whole gallery which will remove all those images (that it copied). Then next time when you create a new gallery, maybe try uploading the images from your computer (instead of choosing from your product images).
