Have to turn off plugin so slideshow works but turn it on to edit slides

  • So, if I turn off the plugin, my slideshow functions perfect on the splash page BUT you cannot edit the slides as no sidebar Slides link in the CMS of course.

    So, if I turn on the plugin, my slideshow function breaks, but I can then make edits.

    So… to make edits to the slides I have to turn on the plugin, break the slideshow, edit my slides as I now have access to the Slides link, turn off the plugin, the slideshow fixes itself and my edits stay are seen.

    What could cause such whacky behavior?

    Are you still having problems with this? That is wacky behavior!

    The plugin shouldn’t work at all, no slideshows, if it is deactivated. So either you have some weird caching issues, or there is a conflict with a slideshow from another plugin or in your theme.
