  • To figure it out we’d need to look at the output from the site (CSS and HTML), not just a screenshot.

Can you post a link? If you don’t want to post it in public, I suggest you create a post over on the forum at the Time.ly website. Post your issue (s above) then reply to your own post. On the second post, you’ll get the option to post a ‘private’ reply, so that someone from Time.ly (or one of the forum moderators) can look at it.

Note: Have you tried this with a different theme, like the standard TwentyFourteen or TwentyThirteen themes that come with WordPress? It’s possible you’ve got a CSS conflict that is causing the text to be blanked out.

Sounds good, I’ve posted the same question on the time.ly support forum.
    I’ll close this question here.

Is there a link to the solution to this issue somewhere? I have it too on my websites. (Event details not appearing + large gap between event title and description, due to css conflict)

I figured out that it was theme I was using; MH Magazine Lite. That there is a conflict somewhere between the theme and the plugin. But, the best resolution I could do while still keeping both was to turn off the Google Maps option off under Event Details.
