    Hi I am using:
Clockwork Free and Paid SMS Notifications
    Version 2.0.3

    Contact Form 7
    Version 3.9 | Af Takayuki Miyoshi |

Contact Form 7 – Clockwork SMS
    Version 2.2.0 | Af Mediaburst | Bes?g pluginsite

I can send test sms from the Clockwork SMS Options. But when I try to use the contact 7 form with SMS add on, I am unable to recieve SMS. I recieve the email, but no sms.

I want the user on the site to write their mobile number in a text box, and send. Thereafter I want to recieve that mobile number on my mobilephone as an SMS.

When I add anything to the “Message body:” of the SMS notifications area, I get an “Unexpected token <” error message at the bottom.

I have tried all kind of options. Can any one help me with this issue?
    Best regards
    Erik

    Hi Erik,

There have been some quite big changes behind the scenes in the new version of Contact Form 7 and our Clockwork plugin hasn’t yet been updated to work with these changes.

I’d recommend you stick with an older version of Contact Form 7 for a short while while we get an update ready and tested.

    Hi!
Thanks for the answer. I installed the Version 3.8.1 of contact form. Now it doesn′t send either mail or SMS. What can be the issue here?
I just get error message that sending failed.

It still works fine with sending test message through the clockwork options.

There is a message in wordpress that says:
“You need to enable the SMS Notifications widget in Appearance > Widgets.”
Does that have any influence on the contact form?

    Hi Erik,

The SMS Notifications widget is from the “Clockwork Free and Paid SMS Notifications” plugin and should be safe to ignore.

Contact Form 7 3.8.1, Contact Form 7 – Clockwork SMS 2.2.0 and WordPress 3.9.1 should all work together correctly (that’s exactly what I’ve tested on).

Ok, how do you format the telephone number that is the recieving number?
I have tried with international prefix
    in Denmark
    455151xx08
    and without
    5151xx08

And it still just gives error, I also removed the SMS to number, so it just sends mail, but still send error. I am unable to find any precise error log, do you know where that is?

    Regards
    Erik

I’ve just released an update to make the Clockwork plugin compatible with Contact Form 7 3.9.

To get this working I’d recommend you set things up as follows:

    1. Disable Clockwork plugin
    2. Update Contact Form 7 to 3.9
    3. Set up and test your Contact Form
    4. Update & Enable the Contact Form 7 Clockwork Addon (version 2.2.1)
    5. Fill in the SMS details.
    • Numbers should be in international format with country code e.g. 455151xx08
    • SMS Message body should be plain text with merge fields.

    E.g. for a form of

    <p>Your Name (required)<br />
        [text* your-name] </p>

    <p>Your Email (required)<br />
        [email* your-email] </p>

    <p>Subject<br />
        [text your-subject] </p>

    <p>Phone (required)<br />
        [tel* your-phone] </p>

    <p>Your Message<br />
        [textarea your-message] </p>

    <p>[submit "Send"]</p>

Set the SMS Message body to something like:

    From: [your-name]
    Msg: [your-message]
    Phone: [your-phone]

    Hope this helps,
    Martin.
