[Theme : Twenty Fourteen] Featured Slider not diplaying on blog feed

Hi Guy

I am having issues setting up the featured slider on this theme.

The slider appears on my home page, however when I go to my blog feed the featured slider is not there anymore. I the theme customizer I selected the settings which allows the slider to appear on the blog feed, however it seems that it is not working.

I actually want the slider to appear only on my blog feed and not at all on my home page. I would appreciate any help in sorting this out.
