featured image not showing on site

  • I am just starting on wordpress and I am new to everything. I set a featured image on my first 2 posts. On the edit page, I can see the image, however it does not show on the website itself. Why is this happening?

  • I too am having the same problem. I have installed sporty into a test folder and have the home page looking how I want, but the feature image will not display on the home page.

    I would appreciate any help/advice which could be offered to get this working.

    You will need to create a post category called “Featured” and with the slug “featured” will have to be added to your post categories. The slider will pick up the latest 3 posts from this category and the image if you have set a featured image. Recommended slider image sizes = 960px width 300px height

    yes if you follow the above instructions the slider will appear.
