    In the Image Browser I would like to move the position of the picture title to be below the image next to its corresponding description and move the navigation to be above the image. I did a search and found out at method to do this but it referred to a file called “imagebrowser.php” which no longer exists. Does such a file still exist that I could modify and if so where is it stored?

    @tsemmes – See this file: /products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/ngglegacy/view/imagebrowser.php

    You can start with a copy of that file and save your new template to the same location. I would also recommend keeping a back-up as the standard WordPress plugin updating process will delete your custom template with every update to NextGEN Gallery.

    Thanks!

    I found the file and edited it by moving the elements around. I saved the file in the same location in the /products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/ngglegacy/view/ directory. It doesn’t make a difference. Is there something I am missing? Do I need to edit something to point to this directory?

    @tsemmes – You need to change the ImageBrowser display to use that template now.

    The default template is used when no template is selected, which is most likely the case here still. You will need to change this in the Customization panel of each ImageBrowser display you have inserted via the IGW.

    Going forward, change the same setting under Gallery > Gallery Settings > NextGEN Basic ImageBrowser

    You may also need to clear your image cache under Gallery > Other Options > Miscellaneous as well.

    Thanks!
