Any issues with a $0 trial in Paypal Pro?

Are there any issues setting up a $0 trial on a recurring membership? e.g. $0 trial then $30pm after 14 days.
I want the members to enter their payment details even though it’s for $0.
I’ve read that this can cause authorisation problems with the IPN
