    Hello,

I just updated my clone/testing site to 1.10.2, and now I am unable to add products to the cart. I only sell virtual products, so I have Jigoshop set to NOT handle inventory. When I try to add something to the cart, I get an error like this:

We are sorry. We do not have enough “Hear God Through Your Dreams” to fill your request.
The Product could not be added to the cart. Please try again.

Because of a different problem I was having on my main site (which I just posted a new thread about), I was reading some troubleshooting instructions including uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin. I don’t really know the proper procedure for that, so I tried simply deactivating and reactivating Jigoshop on this clone/test site. I did this right about the time that this shopping cart error started. Might that have anything to do with it? Is there a proper procedure for uninstalling and reinstalling Jigoshop that will not lose data or have any adverse affects?

Here is my System Information that I just posted in another thread:
    https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/error-jigoshop-requires-at-least-128m-of-memory-your-system-currently-has-268/page/2?replies=40#post-5811340

    Thanks.

  • Hi Josh,
    we’re checking it out.

    Hi
I also just updated to 1.10.2 and have the same problem of not being able to add any products to the shopping cart anymore.

We are sorry. We do not have enough “xyz” to fill your request.

    Inventory is not activated.
    Also get the error message:

Error! Jigoshop requires at least 64M of memory! Your system currently has: 128M.

This is the website where I encounter the problem:
    https://www.praxisrichter.com/produkt-kategorie/baumessenzen/

I could get it to work again by editing the jigshop_cart.class jigshop_checkout.class

Both have a section called //Check stock levels

I copied the whole section from the corresponding files from the 1.9.x version of the plugin.

Now customers can place orders again.

    @deboni,
please send us your jigoshop system info to [email protected] for further check

We are getting the exact same glitch as member deboni. Same error messages about memory and stock on the shopping cart. This is a major problem. See bullybusters.org

Marcin- I have also emailed you our system info. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Workplace Bulyying,
this message is only warning and size checking will be fixed in next release. If everything else is working fine – don’t worry about it for now

Same error for us regarding the error with being out of stock. We have and always have had stock management turned off as we sell services, not products.

Really beginning to think there’s better solutions out there besides Jigoshop…every update is a total crapshoot.

    Hello,

All of problems mentioned here should be resolved in 1.10.3

Thank you all for your bug reports, we were unable to find all those during beta testing. If you are willing to test releases – please watch our GitHub account (https://github.com/jigoshop/jigoshop/releases) and Development section on our blog (https://www.jigoshop.com/blog/category/development/) – all needed info will be published there.

    Thanks Amadeusz,

I downloaded the zip of 1.10.3 from GitHub, and tried to install it by going to Plugins > Add New > Upload. Now I have two copies listed, and I cannot activate the new one because it gives the following:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare jigoshop_admin_toolbar() (previously declared in <redacted>/learn2/wp-content/plugins/jigoshop/jigoshop.php:184) in <redacted>/wp-content/plugins/jigoshop-1.10.3/jigoshop.php on line 228

So I tried to delete the new version so I could just upload it by FTP instead, and hopefully replace the old one that way, but when I tell it to delete all files and data, it just goes to a blank screen and doesn’t do anything.

Thankfully I’m doing all this on my clone/test site. What is the best thing to do now? Delete the jigoshop-1.10.3 by FTP? Then re-upload the contents to the main jigoshop folder under wp-content/plugins?

    Thanks.

    Josh

has anyone else tested this new update 1.10.3? I’m careful now after the message from Josh Virkler

    hi deboni,
these are only bugfixes and no other issues with 1.10 wer reported till now.

    hi Marcin
thanks, but I consider not being able to order products anymore a rather big bug not “only bugfixes”. That is why I am careful with updating.

that’s one of bugfixes included in 1.10.3 and working for all users that contacted us and updated

    Hello Josh,

It’s normal – when uploading new version through “Add new” you will always create new instance – the easiest solution is to deactivate all Jigoshop related plugins (ones not from Jigoshop might have a bug where they need to be Jigoshop active, but are not checking it properly), disable older Jigoshop instance, enable new one, re-enable all plugins you have disabled in first step.

I know it sound pretty tough, in reality it’s just a few clicks. You can also remove second (uploaded) version and update via WordPress updater.
