jQuery.jPlayer.2.6.0. will not install

Hi,

I signed up to the jplayer google forum, and posted a question there, but have heard nothing. I also posted in wordpress and no replies.

I hope you can help me.

my question is –

I have tried a number of times to upload jQuery.jPlayer.2.6.0. ( https://jplayer.org/ ) and this is the message i get –

The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found.

so what to do? why is this so?

I use wordpress 3.9.1 and Pinboard Theme. I have tried using a different theme and it’s the same result. I use a Firefox browser.

I really would like to use this player.
