xampp dreamweaver 8 = test server?

  • Hi all,

    Ive installed xampplite 1.5.5 and have wordpress 2.1 running. I now want to run a test server using DW8 so i can create my own themes and such. My question is that im not sure on how to set up a test server so can someone provide me with some guideance on how to do this. My xampp installation sits in C:\xampplite and all my wordpress files are at C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\My Documents\My Webs\DreamWeaver

    Why are you using DW? I don’t get what you are getting at. Your computer is the server.
