No plugin updates (no notfication, no manual option)

  • It seems my plugin update notifications have stopped working completely since a while (can’t tell since when though).
    Wordpress major updates are notified and do work (like the update for 3.9 to 3.9.1 or theme updates). I can also install new plugins within wordpress, but installed ones are not notificated to be updated by their authors, despite there *are* updates available.

    Doing it the ftp way is quite tedious, so is there anything i could check for? i’m self hosted, not wordpress.com, and everything worked fine so far.

    looking into the main wordpress update page, it also says that “all plugins are up to date” …
