• I have been trying to speed up my website: https://mtnweekly.com and noticed yui.yahooapis.com is being requested 12 times per this domain?

I am not aware of any Yahoo related plugins, or scripts that have been added to the page.

    Any ideas?

Ideally I would like to get rid of this to cut down on request heading to other domains.

  • Looking at FireBug to see what’s being loaded for your homepage I can’t see anywhere that yahooapis.com is being called at all. Are you logged inot the site when you’re testing this? If so you should probably be logged out to see what “normal” users see. If not, then let me know how you’ve found these calls and I’ll see if I can replicate it.

Thanks for getting back to me, I found these calls by using Pingdom:

OK, that makes a little more sense, but it’s still something that is a bit strange.

Whatever your using for caching is causing that. The only calls to CSS and JavaScript files on your page all point to the /cache/ folder on your site, so that’s where you should start looking to see what’s going on.
