  • Not the same situation for me but same error message. Updated stream today on a client site and was locked out of wp-admin and the live site. The live site had a message that stream dbs were not updated correctly. The wp-admin side showed this error message:

Hi JD! Thanks for your message.

I’m looking into this issue for you now. I have a suspicion that these lines are causing the problem, and that these lines are in fact extra code that is not needed since the feed_template method is already loaded via the correct query var in add_feed.

Can you remove them manually and report back to us here?

Frankie – Thanks for the response.

Unfortunately, commenting out these lines brought no change. I still receive the access denied/don’t have permissions to view the feed message for both RSS and JSON network-wide feeds.

Thanks for the update, JD. There is a fair amount of refactoring coming for feeds in the next big Stream 2.0 release, which is scheduled to go out later this month. Let’s revisit this conversation then and see if this issue is resolved by the coming changes.
