    Firstly want to say how great Fileaway has been to work with to host files, very customisable and easy to use – absolutely brilliant.

    I wondered if I might add a couple of feature requests in if you ever had the time…

    1) A ‘download cart’ so that you could add multiple files to a ‘cart’ and when you’ve finished selecting them you could click a single button and it would then download all those files either as a zip, or as separate files but at the click of a single button…

    2) URL masking, so that the URL’s don’t look like the file path. Perhaps they could be customised in the back end so that the user could pick what it looks like?

    Those two features would be absolutely incredible to have access too – it would really make such an awesome plug-in pretty much perfect!

    I’ve looked into request number 2 and it doesn’t look likely that it’s a request I’ll be able to fulfill, with regrets.

    As for number 1), look for an update by tomorrow sometime. You’ll have bulk downloads built into Manager Mode, and the option to activate bulk downloads on any other variation of the File Away data tables. With the ability to select/deselect all, or select individual files the same way they are selected in Manager Mode. Click the download button and they will be sent to the browser for download as a single zip file. The zip files that are generated will be stored in a temp folder, and they will be deleted automatically once they’re an hour old.

    Bulk downloads is now available in version 1.9.4. Hope it helps some.

    Thanks Thom, I’ve download and have been playing with it – works perfectly!

    Something else I’ve noticed while setting up things though, is that dynamic path’s work well for simple file lists, but you can’t seem to use dynamic path’s when using the playbackpath setting in the short code. The player doesn’t come up…

    So for example, if the base directory is set as: “/stuff-fauserroles/downloads” and the playbackpath in my short code is set as: “/stuff-fauserroles/previews” it only outputs a normal download list without audio previews…

    Not sure if it’s a bug, or perhaps it’s not possible to use dynamic pathways for audio previews?

    Encrypted downloads/url masking is now a feature in version 2.6.
