Comments Problem: disappearance of "Notify me of follow-up comments via email"

    Firstly, thank you for this great theme. I have been using this theme in my blog at https://www.amanfrommoab.com since more than 6 months and it is working greatly.

    Recently, I noticed that the following two sentences below the comments box do not appear because they are white and my blog’s background is white:

    Notify me of follow-up comments via email.
    Notify me of new posts via email.

    Therefore, inexperienced users will not know that there is a feature to “follow comments” in posts and pages of my blog once they comment on them.

    I tried to change the color of the comments box but could not find an option for that in the theme’s settings. Can you kindly help me to solve this problem?

    After posting this, I searched google more for a solution and I arrived at a closed topic in www.ads-software.com titled “Change Color of “Notify me of follow-up comments via email”. The solution was:

    … to change the color of the text that says “Notify me of follow-up comments via email.,” try adding this to your custom CSS:

    #respond p.comment-subscription-form label {
    color: #DF4775;
    }

    I did not know about CSS Editor. I wrongly tried to add the above programming text to Appearance>Editor>Comments.php

    I started then to have problems with my Mantra theme. The Blog lost its form. I did not know how to fix the problem. I explored the developers website and found that they have a newer theme called “Tempera”. The latest version of this theme was in June (compared with April for Mantra). It had about 110,000 downloads. I previewed it and read its reviews and then decided to install it. I have just finished updating its settings and its amazing! Mantra is very old compared to this theme. It is worth the 2-3 hours that I had spent customizing it.

    Nonetheless, there is a problem of the font color in this theme and I could it even using the programming text above in the CSS Editor. Can anybody please help?

    Hello,

    I discovered that the problem of the disappearance of the two items

    – Notify me of follow-up comments via email.
    – Notify me of new posts via email.

    is only in Chrome and Firefox. I opened multiple pages of the Blog in Internet explorer and the two above sentences appear and they are black-colored. To test yourself, you can open the following link, or any other post or page link of my Blog, in the three browsers:

    Can anybody please help?
