Hi everybody, a long time since I’ve asked question here ??

Today my hoster (seems that) restarted the server and at that time I was writing a draft. After restart when I try to access my weblog I got the following error:

Table ‘wpposts’ is marked as crashed and should be repaired

After that I did table repair from mysql administration, and now I get the following error when I try to load future number of post

WordPress database error: [You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ‘AND comment_approved = ‘1’ ORDER BY comment_date DESC LIMIT 1′ at line 1]
    SELECT comment_date FROM wpcomments WHERE comment_date > FROM_UNIXTIME(1169831924) AND comment_post_ID = AND comment_approved = ‘1’ ORDER BY comment_date DESC LIMIT 1

let’s say if you try to access this link
    https://www.ambientdefocus.com/weblog/?p=422

if you try to access post number 421, it is ok.

Any ideas, why? And how to fix it! Thanks.

  • Is there a post in wp_posts with an ID equal to 422?

Wonder if you wpcomments table might also need rebuilding.

Do you have a backup of your database, just in case?

Might check with your host, also, to see if they have a backup of your database.

No, there is no post equal to this number. But there shouldn’t be such output in the header. You have to receive only “Sorry no posts, match your criteria” in the body.

Yes, I have backup, from 28th Jan. I have wrote a support ticket. The hoster is serious company.

I just don’t know what causes this problem?
    Another crashed table?
Something on the php/mysql of the server. Something in the WP 2.1 version?

Also now noticed one of symbols does not appear in the comment author names and category. If this helps to identify the problem.

wp is one of the biggest blog communities. It’s very hard to believe that people, who are supporting it have no idea about such situations?
