WordPress database error

  • I recently upgraded from WP 2.0.5 to 2.1 and followed all of the upgrade steps down as written. On my main blog homepage (https://hpnpilot1200.org/blog) I receive the following error at the top of the page:

    WordPress database error: [You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ” at line 1]
    SELECT COUNT(DISTINCT ID) FROM

    I did indeed delete the old files on the server and upload the new ones.

    Any ideas?
