Distinguish between normal user and ultra user

actually i’m using the ultra user plugin for displaying service provider who provide services for specific products so i have login/registration for these service providers. now i have woocommerce integrated in my site where the user have to login/register to purchase any product. so now when i register, the normal customer also get access as ultra user means their profile gets created as ultra user how can i avoid this, is their any way to get around this.

Okay, so you are using woocommerce to create users, right?
You don’t want customers to have a Users Ultra profile page. Am I understanding correctly?

You want vendors to have a Users Ultra profile page. Am I correct?

From what you are saying, you are running two registration and login features. You are running them on one site, and both of them use WordPress default database tables for meta. I’m not sure there is a way to separate them. If someone signs up on the site, they sign up using WordPress tables. Users Ultra has it’s own tables for certain meta, but we use WordPress tables for members. As does woocommerce.

There are ways to block certain members from seeing some content. But, you are using woocommerce for part of the registration process which leaves Users Ultra out of being able to block certain content based on membership plans.

Might I suggest looking at some of the woocommerce extensions to see if they have something where you can block those members that sign up using woocommerce from accessing other parts of the site.

Do you know if you are assigning certain roles for those customers you don’t want to be able to access the Users Ultra pages?

yes you interpreted it correctly i want two logins
i’m using subscribers role for woocommerce users and vedor role (which i have created using a plugin called user role editor) for vendors.
is their any term or attribute in database that can distinguish user registered from ultra user registration form or can i authenticate the users on role basis by altering some login code in ultra user plugin. Is that possible ?

Whatever default user role you have set for WordPress, Users Ultra lite uses that role when someone registers using Users Ultra lite.

Hey,

Yes, you could but.. if you alter the coding you won’t be able to upgrade to the next releases. Since the new version will override your changes.

Our PRO version includes that feature and it allows you to assign a role when registering.

Unfortunately, we cannot offer support for the pro version on WordPress forums. But.. we have our forums here https://www.usersultra.com/support/.

I really would like to help you to change the coding but.. if you do it, that might lead on some complications to upgrade the lite version.
