Simplest way to add an image to widget area

Hello,

I would like to incorporate the media library into a widget. So that the user can upload an image while in the widget area & save it. I have found a tutorial on this.

It relies on the user uploading the image in the media library area, & then copying the url & pasting it in a field in the widget dashboard area. This is a bit complex for someone who doesn’t know wordpress that well I think. I would like them to be able to upload the image while in the widget admin area – keeping it as simple as possible.
