Does switching involve a refresh?

    Yes, it refreshes the page.
    If you don’t mind, may I know what’s the problem with page refresh?

    It’s ugly and unnecessary, at least for the functionality I was looking for. But I understand that if you’re changing themes, there’s probably no other way. In the end, I used javascript to preload a different stylesheet and switch seamlessly between them and have the choice remembered by using cookies. Thanks for the reply.
