Can't assign page template

  • Hallo everybody!

    I’m stuck, please help. For one of my pages I can’t assign the page template. The syntax seems to be correct –
    /*
    * Template Name: galerija
    */
    It shows up in the template dropdown but after pressing update nothing happens – still default template. I have other pages with custom templates in my theme and those work fine.

    What’s wrong?
