    Hello –
    I was just wondering how I could have the entire post shown instead of the excerpt. I click on show full content under settings but it still shows an excerpt with read more. Thank you!

  • The first post on the blog is shown in full unless you use the <!– more –> tag. The rest of the posts show just the excerpt. To change this behavior you need to create a child theme and change the content call in content.PHP from the_excerpt() to the_content().

    Using the Simone theme, the second post on my homepage won’t show in full — it just appears truncated despite putting the <!– more –> tag on. All the other posts are in full. I’m new to this. Do I need to change the_excerpt() to the_content() and if so where do I do this?
