share to Facebook not pulling images from my post or feature image.

Has anything changed recently on your site? I see the right OG (open graph) tags indicated on that post currently, but when Facebook last scanned that page (23 hours ago), they appeared not to be set:

If you choose to fetch new data, this should resolve for that particular post from this time forward, though that doesn’t solve the mystery quite yet.

The only thing new I’ve added is a Communicator plugin from Problogger and set up a sticky top bar. I’ve checked with them and this doesn’t seem to be the cause of the problem, and seems unlikely that a new plugin would cause this anyhow.

Do you have any ideas for a solution? I just tried to share again on a different post and I’m still only getting the side bar or slider images!

What is the link of the other post? For the post we looked at already, Facebook’s data was still from August 5th.

My first thought is a plugin or your theme is adding bad HTML to your page now.

Looking at your post’s source code, https://cloudup.com/c0Im4-7x4sR , line 12 is expected for the head of your site. The next lines, 14-25, shouldn’t be in the head (rather in the body), with line 26 starting with the OG tags that Facebook need.

I’m guessing that may be from the Problogger plugin. Can you deactivate it and then we can rescrape your site (from the link above in the earlier post for that particular page on your site) and see if that resolved it.

Hi thank you Brandon. I deactivated the communicator plug in from problogger and it partially fixed my problem. The lastest post still only pulls the slider images, but if I share older posts on Facebook it pulls the feature and post images in FB….go figure.

I reran the post from above through the Debugger again and requested a fresh scrape. Facebook will cache the data it found, so unless enough time has gone by or the cache is refreshed, it would continue showing the incorrect data.
