  • Same here — I’m using ‘Hide widget on selected’. Under global selections, I chose front page and under Target by URL I’ve tried:

    products
    products/
    products/*
    /products/
    /products
    /products/*

Also doesn’t work on ‘Show widget on selected” with a different widget.

It was working fine on previous version. My site url is https://www.newmoonbody.com.

The widgets I’m using that it doesn’t work on are Recent Posts, RSS, and WooCommerce widgets – Product search, product categories, and recently viewed products. The section widgets have hide/show functionality already built in that works.

    Same problem.

    Works on

    company/*

    but not company/

I can’t get Widget Context to work using the URL targeting. If I set the context as “Show widget on selected” and check the global command as “All pages” the same menu shows on all pages. If I set the context as “Show widget on selected” and leave all of the global commands unchecked it doesn’t show any menus on any pages. (I have three menu’s set for unique pages).

This plugin has “issues” and support is rarely answered – That’s why we switched to this – https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/conditional-widgets/

    Thanks Hendison Scott!

I have been agonizing over widget context for weeks. Your suggestion to go with Conditional Widgets saved my day! I was able to get my many, many, widgets working correctly in 30 minutes!
