Cannot remove certain labels/fields

  • When you make a new form, it automatically comes with Name, Email Address, Message (something else too). You cannot remove these. why? How? I don’t want to just rename them. I want to start a new form that is 100% blank, but how? Why can’t I? I don’t want to make a new form and have static fields already present.

    You cannot remove these. why? How?

    The following is what is quoted by @mike Challis in his website.

    Field Names must be unique. The Names on the default standard fields (Name, Email Address, Subject, Message) cannot be changed on the Field tab, but you can change the label that displays on the form on the Labels tab.

    Any of the 4 standard fields can be disabled with a check box setting in the field details
