Bulk Optimizer not able to write to files
-
I’m using the most recent version of EWWW Image Optimizer and tried to do a bulk optimize (in the ‘optimize everything else’ section I’m pressing the ‘scan and optimize’ button). The images that it tries to optimize, it fails and says that it couldn’t write to the file. I’m not really a tech person, but I had someone check and the folder that it is in has writable permissions, but the file itself is not writable…is there some setting or something I need to change?
Here is the debug code from one of the images I’m trying to bulk optimize: https://pastebin.com/EjXBi7i8
Here is the debug code from the app itself: https://pastebin.com/nRrGxS6fThe other issue is that some of the images say that they are previously optimized (though Google PageSpeed still says that they should be optimized). Is it possible that this issue is related to the first, or is it a configuration setting that is causing this? If the latter, do you have a guide to the best practice optimization settings or commonly used settings?
