Your posts, pages, plugin settings, etc. are stored in and retrieved from the WP database. You have to export database from the old host and import it into a new, empty database on the new host.

I did a very best mistake..
I have a wordpress backup of my website on my file.but i did not backup my database.

The thing is the I have 1 domain using and different hosting..I already move my domain to a new hosting without exporting my database from the old.. To run the new wordpress onthe host is to transfer my domain first. So I deleted everything from the old host..Now I am trying to run the new wordpress on the new host..

Anyone have an idea how to tranfer the old wordpress to the new host..
I think I have to configure the wp-config?but how??

can anyone help me please…need it urgently..

If you still have access to the old host, perhaps see if the DB is still there and export it. Or maybe the old hosting company can do that for you from one of their backups.

Unfortunately, without the database from the old host, you are left to start from scratch.

Most of hosting providers don’t take daily backups. But, they do backup from time to time in order to keep their server up incase of mishaps.
You may ask your old hosting provider for that backup of yours.

So, don’t waster time, and just ask them for favor.

You only upload PHP files, not posta data.
You must find your database and restore.
