XML-RPC error 32300

    I’m running the latest WP version and everything worked fine, until now. The following error appeared at the top of the admin section when I logged on:

    XML-RPC Error:-32300:transport error - HTTP status code was not 200

    I have no clue how to begin trying to figure what the problem is. Any pointers?

    OK. Self-answer here: As the error message appeared in the top section of the admin panel, where the results of the PJW WordPress Version Check plugin normally appeared, I had the idea to disable that plugin to see if it was the cause of the problem. Bingo. It was.
