reading setting reverts back to default automatically

There seems to be an issue I’m facing since today morning. My landing page is automatically reverted back to the posts page even after manually changing it in the reading settings. This happens after sometime and not immediately. So after I make the changes the way I want, it stays for a while, before it is reverted back again.

Does anyone know what might be causing this? Any plugins that might cause this issue?
