Image orientation landscape & portrait together

Hi Guys

I have a wordpress and woocommerce site selling photography prints. I would like to include both images orientated as landscape and portrait together under the same categories. Problem is when I upload a portrait image it is huge compared with the landscape images next to it. It sit possible to constrain all thumbnails and product images so that they do now go outside a certain width and height?
